SimUnar Library Academy
SimUnar Library Academy is a game-based, learning platform for library and information skills. SimUnar Library Academy provides everything school librarians need to teach the National School Library Standards using engaging, interactive, game-based lessons. Every lesson is designed upon 16 Information Literacy Learning Elements. Each learning element represents a core building block for information literacy development. As students complete game-based learning adventures, they master learning elements (e.g., keyword searching) and meet learning goals embodied in the National School Library Standards.
Students must unpack and organize a box of physical books.

SimUnar is a simulation and game design imprint of the Newell Consulting Group (NCG). We design state-of-the-art, game-based learning software for libraries and K-12 schools. Our latest learning platform is called SimUnar Library Academy.
SimUnar Library Academy provides safe learning experiences. This is not a multi-player platform. Your student is the only real person in the game-based learning environment. All other characters are preprogrammed bots. In addition, students are never linked to resources or sites outside of the learning platform, and they do not encounter advertisements during/between gameplay.
SimUnar Library Academy will work on any internet-connected PC or Mac running the free Adobe Flash software.
Email us at Info@SimUnar.com, and your email will be routed to the appropriate division and staff member.
